MR. WILLIAM CHOY – President
William Choy Wing Hang joined C-Bons Group in 2004 and serves as the managing director of C-Bons Group (International) and Vice President of C-Bons Group (China). From 2008 to 2012, he was also a Director of HuBei MaiYa Co., Limited, a company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
He graduated with honors from The University of British Columbia, Canada obtaining degrees in Psychology and Economics and received his doctorate degree in Business Administration from The University of California. He is also a CFP certified financial advisor.
Choy currently holds offices in various public organizations. He is the chairman of Hong Kong-Hubei Youth Exchange Promotion Association, vice president of Hubei Youth Federation, director of Hong Kong United Youth Association, director of Hong Kong Hubei Fraternity, executive director of Hubei Overseas Friendship Association, and vice chairman of Wuhan Federation of Industry and Commerce.
Choy has always been focused on improving social welfare and is particularly committed to efforts based upon the advancement of exchange and cooperation between Hong Kong and the Mainland China. He has organized various cultural exchanges and field-study trips for the youth from Hong Kong and Hubei towards enhancing mutual understanding and deepening the economic and cultural exchanges between Hong Kong and Hubei. Through these exchange programs, Hong Kong and Hubei youth alike are better able understand the developments in their respective homes, explore new business and social opportunities, and promote the overall economic and social growth and connectivity between Hong Kong and Hubei.
MR. RANDY JONES – Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer
Jones is senior vice president and chief operating officer of CBIGG Management. He serves in the same roles for CBIGG Management’s parent company C-Bons International Golf Group, Inc. He has held this latter position for five years. Prior to being chosen as COO, Jones acted as vice president of golf operations and development for the parent company. During this time, he was responsible for day to day operations and business management of the company’s international and domestic properties.
An industry veteran, Jones has enjoyed a 19 year career in the club and golf course business, and has been directly involved in the development of more than 25 domestic and international facilities. Jones has extensive experience in the creation and subsequent management of golf resort properties and has been involved with every aspect of the process, from choosing course designers, to managing hotel operations, to implementing full turn-key management course management programs. Jones’ skill set has developed across every category of golf experience, from high-profile projects like Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill, and Spanish Bay to your everyday high quality, daily fee public courses. This breadth of knowledge and track record of success has made him a leader in the golf industry. He demands excellence from himself and his team every day, and provides critical insight and direction for the C-Bons golf and club companies.
Mr. Jones lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife and two children.
MR. FRANKIE NG – Chief Financial Officer
Frankie Ng is a CPA of the HKICPA and a fellow member of the ACCA. Ng joined CBIGG in January 2012 as a CFO with more than 15 years of experience in accounting, finance internal audit and external audit. Prior to joining CBIGG, Frankie was a senior audit manager of an international accounting firm and has extensive experience in providing audit services to listed and private entities in Hong Kong, the People’s Republic of China and United Kingdom. Ng has dealt with a wide range of companies including manufacturing, agricultural products, international trading, construction, gaming and leisure, as well as other services companies of various sizes. He has also been involved in transaction service assignments, including very substantial acquisitions and disposals by the listed companies, as well as initial public offerings in Hong Kong. Ng holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in accounting and finance from The University of Hong Kong.
MRS. TANYA PAL – Chief Financial Officer
Tanya B. Pal, joined CBIGG Management as CFO in October of 2015. A long time CPA, Pal brings over 20 years of financial accounting, auditing, and management experience to the Company. Pal graduated from the University of Austin at Texas with BBA & MPA degrees after completing its nationally recognized Professional Program in Accounting (PPA).
Throughout her career, Pal has been the principal source of financial/accounting advice and leadership for large Houston-based energy and tech companies. She has held the position of CFO, controller, and third party CPA adviser. In these roles, she implemented, developed, and improved accounting processes and procedures; hired and trained accounting staff; and developed and maintained the relationships (both internal and external) necessary to accomplish her goals, and those of her company. Her wide variety of experiences as an auditor, consultant, controller and CFO not only enables her to the see the big picture and understand the key issues necessary to the financial health of a company, but also gives her the ability to roll up her sleeves and get into the transactional and operational details. Having worked in start-ups and private equity funded companies, Pal also has extensive experience in financial modeling, preparing and delivering presentations to management, equity owners/boards, and bankers.
Tanya and her husband, Rick, live in Sugar Land, Texas with their two teenage daughters.
MR. CHUCK COX – Vice President of Operations
Chuck Cox, vice president of operations, is a 19-year veteran of the private club industry with extensive operational and membership sales experience. Mr. Cox has served in the roles of a membership director, general manager and regional vice president. Prior to joining CBIGG, Cox was the General Manager of a private equity club in Houston, Texas for nine years, and spent almost a decade prior to as a general manager at several business clubs, sports clubs, and country clubs owned by ClubCorp.
Cox is a proven leader in the private club industry with expertise in financial turnarounds and rebuilding operations. He has exceptional skills in strategic planning, analyzation, financial management and team building.
Cox and his wife, Stefani live in Houston and have four children.
MR. DALE FOLMAR – Vice President of Operations
Dale Folmar is a 28-year veteran of the golf industry with operational experience in both public course and private country club operations. Folmar knows golf. He has not only served as regional vice president, senior vice president of operations, and general manager for large portfolios of both public and private clubs, but has also advised the golfers themselves as a PGA, head golf professional.
Prior to joining CBIGG, Folmar served as the executive vice president of operations for Eagle Golf in Dallas, Texas. He was responsible directing the operations of 45 daily fee golf properties in 11 states with a combined $127 million in revenues and $38.5 million in net operating income. Folmar has also negotiated numerous third party and municipal lease and management agreements throughout the U.S.
Folmar is a strategic thinker with strong leadership ability and focuses on direct programming and developing an accountability culture within an organization to drive operational growth.
He attended Navarro College and the University of Houston’s Conrad Hilton College of Restaurant Management.
MR. ANTHONY RE - Vice President of Golf Operations
Anthony received his BA in Marketing / Professional Golf Management at Ferris State University and has be in the golf industry for the past thirty-four year’s operating public, resort and private golf courses, has run major celebrity golf events, national junior championships and LPGA Future Tour events at various properties. Anthony worked for Club Corp for 17 years, Hershey Resorts 3 years and had served as VP of Golf for nine years with the Dominion Golf Group prior to joining CBIGG in 2015. Anthony is a PGA Member for the past 24 years. He resides in San Antonio, Texas with his wife Renee and two sons Travis and Joshua.
MR. PATRICK BARRETT – Vice President of Buildings and Maintenance
Patrick Barrett joined C-Bons International Golf Group in August 2013. He previously worked as a project manager for Quality Crafted Homes LLC. In this role, Barrett was involved in all aspects of the home building. During the 10 years that Barrett worked with QCH, he built on average 10-15 custom home per year and developed two single-family home subdivisions with a total of 91 new homes. Throughout the construction of the homes, Barrett oversaw all aspects from framing and mechanical placement (plumbing and HVAC) to finish flooring and cabinetry. His careful oversight ensured that the best possible product was being delivered to the client on time, and on budget. He worked closely with clients developing the plan and budgets, but also met with the sub-contractors on a daily basis to ensure goals were being met.
As QCH evolved, Barrett was also involved in the creation of Quality Enterprises LLC which helped the company move into the foreclosure home market. A relationship was built with Fannie May Lending to handle property preservation for them in the Greater Milwaukee area. The scope of work ranged from minor repairs and safety hazards being addressed to major plumbing replacement in an entire home.
Previous to Quality Crafted Homes, Barrett was a national golf course construction superintendent and traveled the U.S. extensively, supervising numerous projects.
Mr. Kevin Foster - Vice President of Sales
Kevin W. Foster, Native Texan, is a thirty-three-year veteran of the hospitality industry, with twenty-two of those years employed by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Prior to joining CBIGG, Foster served as a Regional Director and General Manager with ClubCorp and started a hospitality customer service consulting company in 2008. Mr. Foster brings extensive sales and marketing leadership experience to the CBIGG portfolio. He currently serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for Texas Meetings + Events Magazine, Steering Committee Member for multiple charity organizations and guest speaker at industry events.
Foster is a Certified Meeting Professional, he is an active member of National Association of Catering Executives, Society of Certified Meeting Professionals and MS150 Steering Committee. Foster is also a sports enthusiast – Ironman triathlons, marathoner and cyclists.
Most importantly, Fosters’ active daily schedule includes spending time with his wife of twenty-five years, Teresa, and their two beautiful children Kelsea, twenty-three, and Landry, fifteen.
MRS. JANET GOODING – Director of Human Resources
Janet Gooding is the director of human resources for CBIGG Management. In this role, Gooding provides senior level HR leadership and directs and manages company-wide HR operations, including oversight of employee relations and benefits.
Gooding started her career in human resources as a HR manager for a non-profit agency. Through her leadership, her agency received state recognition for maintaining proper and complete files. She quickly became a resource for other agencies on best practices for compliance.
Janet has a bachelor’s degree from University of Central Florida.
MRS. LATOYA JONES-ZELAYA – TX Region HR / Corporate Communications/ Executive Assistant
LaToya Jones-Zelaya joined CBIGG Management in January 2016. She previously worked as the Member Relations Director for Sweetwater Country Club (a C-Bons club) where she served as a member of the senior management team for more than 13 years.
Jones-Zelaya has been chosen for a broader corporate role due to her excellent project management, marketing and communication skills. Jones-Zelaya holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas Southern University.
Recently married, Jones-Zelaya lives with her new husband in Houston, Texas.
MR. PATRICK PETTIT – Houston Regional General Manager
Patrick Pettit has enjoyed a career in hospitality industry for the past 30 years. Before joining CBIGG, Pettit worked in private clubs with ClubCorp. During his 17-year tenure with ClubCorp, Petit served as both general manager and regional manager. He has served the members and employees of Hearthstone Country Club, Willow Creek Golf Course and Bay Oaks Country Club. Most recently, Patrick served as general manager and regional manager at one of the world’s largest country clubs, The Clubs of Kingwood.
Pettit’s first job in the business was as a bellman at the Four Seasons Inn on the Park Hotel in Houston during college. His hotel career continued for 10 years in a variety of operational roles within Four Seasons Resort & Hotels in both Houston and Dallas. Petit continued his hotel career by serving as an area manager for Homestead Village—an extended stay lodging company—for several years.
Pettit is a graduate of the University of Houston Conrad Hilton College of Hospitality and Restaurant Management. He is active within the Club Managers Association of America.
Pettit and his wife, LaDonna, have two children.
MR. BRYANT EARLY – San Antonio Regional Manager
Bryant Early has more than 23 years of experience in the private club industry. Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, he started his career with ClubCorp at the Dayton Racquet Club. After six years, Earle left ClubCorp to move into his new role as general manager of Meadowbrook Country Club in Clayton, Ohio for Matrix Golf and Hospitality.
In 2005, Early rejoined ClubCorp as the general manager of the Plaza Club in San Antonio. After only a brief time at the Plaza Club, Earle was recruited by The Dominion Golf Group to open one of its newest acquisitions, Twin Creeks Country Club located in Cedar Park, Texas.
He and his wife, Ashia, have two daughters, Brianna and Brittney. When not spending time with family, Earle enjoys working out and attending various sporting events.
MR. CHRIS STEWART – Dallas Regional General Manager
Chris joined the Club industry 15 years ago and has spent time at several types of private Clubs including Corporate Owned, Member Owned, Developer Owned and Single Ownership. He has management certifications with both ClubCorp and the Club Manager's Association of America (CMAA).
Stewart received his Master's of Business Administration from the University of Delaware.
MR. RAY TUGEND – North East Regional General Manager
Raymond Tugend is an experienced Club manager, and brings to bear a multifaceted skill set developed from serving in multiple roles in the business. Tugend has served as director of golf, membership director, general manager and regional general manager at and for the clubs within the Century Golf portfolio. Under his leadership, Tugend took two separate clubs from carrying a membership inventory, to full with a waitlist status. He was the COO of Susquehanna Valley Country Club and General Manager of the Hawthorns Golf and Country Club before returning to NY with CBIGG as the Regional General Manager.
He received undergraduate degrees from Pennsylvania State University. He resides with his wife Catherine in Depew, NY.
MR. SCOTT JACQUES – West Coast Regional General Manager
Scott Jacques has been in the Golf Industry for 17 years. Scott has held numerous management positions throughout the golf industry, from Head Golf Professional and General Manager at Daily Fee & Private clubs, to his current role as Regional VP for CBIGG. Jacques is a graduate of the Golf Academy of America in Phoenix, where he currently maintains a position on the Advisory board. Jacques excels at rehabilitating
distress courses, and has transformed several failing properties into profitable ones.
